Christian Phillips

Christian Phillips was born and raised in a small town just outside of Lexington Kentucky. Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served six years as an infantryman and during his enlistment, Christian was deployed twice to Afghanistan while stationed in North Carolina. Halfway through his enlistment he was relocated to Washington D.C. and served within the Marines Corps’ premier HazMat Search and Rescue Unit. Following his transition from the Marines as a Sergeant in 2015, he became involved in dog training. He entered an apprenticeship and within one year was elevated to the position of trainer. During his time working within the company, he learned many different training philosophies but mainly focused on Balanced and Positive training. A year later he was promoted to Lead Trainer and Kennel Manager. In 2018, when the company relocated, Christian enrolled at Eastern Kentucky University to study Psychology and worked as an Event Manager at a local retail store. He attained his Bachelor of Science in 2022. He has worked with multiple non-profits that support veterans with PTSD. At home, he has a rescue German Shephard, a Great Pyrenees, and three rescue cats. He enjoys the outdoors and traveling. His love for animals and their well-being coupled with his experience in the Marines and training dogs drove him to further his skill set within the Canine world.
