The pool is specially designed for canines with a depth of four feet and wrap-around step for easy in and out.  The fountains and geysers entertain our canine guests and soothe their onlooking parents as they relax poolside.  Whether you are treating your pet to a cooling swim or aquatic exercises, the cool pool is a retreat and relaxation destination.

What can I do while my dog is swimming?

Although the pool is strictly for the dogs, you can catch a few rays or relax & read a great book. This is a great place to meet new canine loving friends.

Why is the resort so strict on vaccinations? The protection of our members and guests is of the upmost importance at Uptown Hounds. Ensuring that every dog is vaccinated properly allows us to provide a happy, healthy and safe environment.

Pool Rules

Members (yearly pool pass holders):

• dogs must be spayed/neutered

• dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccines

• dog owners must have purchased a yearly pass

• dogs must be social with other dogs

• reservations are not required

• swim hours are weekdays 2:30 - 6:30pm and weekends 12:30 - 4:30pm

Non-Members

🦴 Canine guests only: The pool is designed for the exclusive use of our canine guests. That’s right…no people allowed! Of course, owners can accompany them into the pool area and can relax poolside, but only dogs should be dog paddling.

🐶 Leash Rules: Dogs running can mean great fun, but safety is the key! While in the pool area, dogs should be kept under control and while taking a break between swims, should always be on a leash at the owner’s side outside of the pool's fenced-in area.

🧾 Owner is responsible: Owner/Guardian or Uptown Hounds staff must accompany any pet using the pool and understand and accept the responsibility of safety and protection of all pets and visitors in the pool area.

🌊 Conduct yourself: The pool is an area where multiple owners and pets may enjoy themselves and this exclusive atmosphere together. Please respect others sharing the pool during your session. Share swim tips, swap puppy stories, but be sure to maintain control of your dog to avoid confrontations.

🚭 No smoking & no glass! For the safety and comfort of all Uptown Hounds guests, canine and people, the entire resort property, to include the pool patio area, is smoke free. Also with safety in mind, please do not bring any glass containers into the pool area.

💉 Vaccination Requirements: The health and well-being of our Guests is of the utmost importance to us at Uptown Hounds. The following vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian are required prior to admittance for any and all services provided at Uptown Hounds: Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza), Bordetella,
