(DVM, CCRT) and her team, join us at Uptown Hounds! Our Veterinary
Wellness Center is setting new standards in animal care. Dr. Johnson
specializes in pet rehabilitation and pet weight reduction. Does
your pet have trouble rising to a standing position after a nap? Does your
dog struggle with arthritis? Specialty services include therapeutic
ultrasound as well as hydrotherapy. The Veterinary Wellness Center at
Uptown Hounds has Lexington’s only hyperbaric chamber which speeds up the

Meet new staff members
Uptown Hounds is growing and has added new staff members to
serve you even better!
Christy
S., the new Executive Director of Uptown Hounds is hard at work on our
newest project, Bark Lee Alert! Christy is also the current Mrs. Kentucky
America. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BS in
Merchandising, a monthly columnist for the Hamburg Journal, as well as a
fitness center owner/instructor. Christy's family includes her German
Shepard, Sampson.
Fetch and Feast
Do
you want to watch your dogs play with their friends at daycare? They
have a blast during playgroup and want you to share their joy while you
have lunch in the Cafe at Uptown Hounds. On these cold winter days,
let us warm you up with a daily hot special - lunch service begins at
11:30. One group of Daycare dogs will be brought to the Indoor Arena
- which is overlooked from the Cafe - at 11:30 and another at 12:30.
The groups rotate daily and the lunch special changes daily. Please
check your weekly email or the posted menu and schedule at the reception
desk

Fayette Mall now has THE Pet Gift Destination. Visit us inside the
Dillards wing across from Talbots for a brand new Uptown Hounds experience.
We offer pet gift baskets (new pet, happy pet birthday, pet
housewarming, pet super bowl party, etc.) and specialty orders for all your
pet needs. Remember to pick up your pet’s Valentine goodies and treats!
You can even book Uptown Hounds services (grooming, hotel stays, and
