Is enrollment per family or per dog?
The charges for Poolside Access & Training Access are per dog. However, we offer a 25% discount on Poolside Access & Training Access rates for each additional dog in your family.
Why enroll in Poolside Access?
Poolside Access includes the use of Pool, in addition to Arena and Lawn. Uptown Hounds Poolside Access allows you to have exclusive use of all parts of our facility. The resort is designed to foster a dog-loving community! Be a part and give your dog a chance to be here with you whether swimming, playing, or training. When it's time for him to stay with us for a haircut, spa visit, or hotel stay, he’ll be comfortable!
If I have Training Access, can I use the Pool?
You can upgrade your Training Access package for $20/month. This upgrade will allow participants enrolled in our training classes to enjoy the pool during our pool hours.
Why are there certain hours for Pool and Practice?
Uptown Hounds hosts classes and uses the facility for our boarding & daycare guests' enjoyment. This requires the use of areas of our facility during certain time blocks.
Is there any long term obligation?
None at all. Access begins the day you enroll and will run through the end of your subscription. Example: purchase a one month enrollment on 01/01/09 and it will expire 02/01/09. Day passes are also available should you be in town just for the day.
Why is the resort so strict on vaccinations?
The protection of our members and guests is of the upmost importance at Uptown Hounds. Ensuring that every dog is vaccinated properly allows us to have a happy, healthy and safe environment. Review our vaccination requirements.
What is included with a training class?
Uptown Hounds believes in practicing in the same location as training. We have included Training Access as a benefit to all participants enrolled in our training classes.
What can I do while my dog is swimming?
Although the pool is strictly for the dogs, you can catch a few rays, enjoy lunch from our café or just relax & read a great book. This is a great place to meet new canine loving friends.
